About eco Preschools
Our Philosophy
"You know that the beginning is the most important part of any work,
especially in the case of a young and tender thing" - Plato
eco preschools
is committed to providing balanced experiences that are responsive to the needs
of children in the context of their families, communities and societies in which
they live. When a society is out of harmony with nature, the spending of money
brings prosperity in one place and destruction in another. In a truly sustainable
society, business leaders make decisions that further the prosperity of everyone.
eco preschools
endeavor to provide responsible Early Childhood Education from Educational,
Business and Environmental Science Perspectives that promote sustainable living
in individuals and localized communities. By enrolling your child into our eco
preschool, you will support principles of environmental protection and social
ethics. You will also be educating children to work towards a future that supports
sustainable living; the delicate balance between all the living forms on earth,
animate & inanimate.
eco preschools
also recognises the important role that sound early childhood provisions play
in supporting families and building strong communities. Dedicated staff cater
to whole child development and learning by employing developmentally appropriate
practices that recognise and value the child in the integration and development
of practical tools with daily applications.
eco preschools
is an information resource for children and families. We are linked to a multitude
of human services that support children and families and strengthen communities.
Where possible, we endeavor to support sustainable processes and utilize products
produced by organic methods and by local people, to support the community that
supports us.
